Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Camus mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this app.
Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of Camus for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not modify or copy the app materials, use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display, attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained in the app, remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials, or transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on any other server.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our app. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the app and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Camus for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, impairs or renders the app less efficient. You must not use the app in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the app or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the app. You must not use the app to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of or is linked to any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.
Intellectual Property Rights
The app and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Camus and its licensors. The app is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Camus.
User-Generated Content
Our app may allow you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material. You are responsible for the content that you post to the app, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. By posting content to the app, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the app. You retain any and all of your rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through the app and you are responsible for protecting those rights.
Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the app for any purpose other than that for which we make the app available. The app may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to: systematically retrieving data or other content from the app to create or compile a collection, database or directory without written permission from us, making any unauthorized use of the app, including collecting usernames and email addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email, circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security-related features of the app, engaging in unauthorized framing of or linking to the app, tricking, defrauding, or misleading us and other users, interfering with, disrupting, or creating an undue burden on the app or the networks or services connected to the app, attempting to impersonate another user or person or using the username of another user, selling or otherwise transferring your profile, using any information obtained from the app in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or using the app as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise using the app in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws or regulations.
Subscription and Payments
Some parts of the app may be billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis. Billing cycles are set on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a subscription. At the end of each billing cycle, your subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it. You may cancel your subscription renewal through your account settings or by contacting our customer support team.
Free Trial
We may offer a free trial to new users who register with the app. The free trial account gives you access to certain features of the app for a limited period of time. At any time and without notice, we reserve the right to modify the terms of the free trial offer or cancel such free trial offer.
Refunds
Except when required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe that we have charged you in error, you must contact us within 30 days of such charge. No refunds will be given for any charges more than 30 days old.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the app or contact us to request account deletion.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Camus, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the app, any conduct or content of any third party on the app, any content obtained from the app, or unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Disclaimer
Your use of the app is at your sole risk. The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The app is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance. Camus, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that the app will function uninterrupted, be secure or available at any particular time or location, be error-free, be free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any errors or defects will be corrected.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our app after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
